Nutheorie
Nutheorie is a driving course provider in Netherlands.
Project
Nutheory teaches you the theory efficiently and responsibly so that you pass your CBR car theory exam in one go. It's a web portal that helps find new students and helps tutors to communicate with their current students.
Challenge
The client needed a web platform for their driving courses. The platform is a marketplace of services that they provide across the country. Customers sign up and log into the system, choose classes based on their location, find all necessary documents and information about courses and teammates, leave feedback. The system administrator manages customers through a secured admin dashboard.
Solution
VueJS and NuxtJS have been chosen as a front-end framework. The client loved the growing community and popularity around the framework, which helped to select SPA framework for the website. Server-side rendering was implemented to provide the best possible SEO of the website, which was necessary for the client's marketing plans. NodeJS and ExpressJS were used on the back-end as a simplistic technology stack for API implementation. The client also had a couple of solutions connected with Google's FirestoreDB, so we used the same database for the project.
Results
Online marketing helped attract new clients on the web, and the new website became an additional source of leads and customers for the business. The web portal also helps to schedule personal and group lessons online and provide all necessary documents and weekly updates to the customers without administrator participation, which helps automate some parts of daily processes and reduce the administrator's workload.
